We discuss what Wirelesss Mesh networks are and why they are important. Mesh networks have been around for decades, but the technology has now become reliable enough, and the price has come down to the point where it can start being deployed inexpensively.
Wireless Mesh Networks allow you to quickly build out large wireless networks with out having to pay for as much infrastructure.
Generally Wireless Mesh Networks are more reliable than other networks, but poor planning can cause it to be surprisingly nonresilient.
