Overview:
Wireless operators around the globe are rolling out LTE networks in order to meet growing demand from consumers for mobile data services. In meeting that demand, many operators are looking at using small cell technologies to further expand coverage in densely populated markets where demand is set to outstrip the spectrum resources controlled by operators. These technologies include the use of licensed spectrum through femtocells, picocells, distributed antenna systems and repeaters, as well as unlicensed options using Wi-Fi. However, with those deployments come challenges in designing networks to avoid interference issues as well as power and backhaul requirements for thousands of smaller cell sites.

What you will learn:
This webinar will provide insight into the current challenges facing wireless carriers as they look to deploy small cells into their LTE networks. Topics will include the benefits of small cells for LTE, challenges carriers can expect to run into with those deployments, potential solutions for those challenges and a look at what networks may look like in five years.

Who should attend:
Network engineers and those tasked with overseeing the management and operations of wireless networks, specifically those implementing LTE and small cells.
