What Is OTDOA?
Featured video
Description
This video is focused on a location technology that just about all LTE-enabled mobile devices need to support. Observed time difference of arrival, or OTDOA, is a cellular network positioning technology that is part of the 3GPP Release 9 LTE standard. By making timing offset measurements between the LTE serving cell and neighbor cells, called received signal time difference (RSTD) measurements, a mobile device's location can be accurately computed.
