Dr. James Truchard, known as Dr. T, is the president, CEO and co-founder of National Instruments. Speaking with RCR Wireless News at IEEE GlobeCom, Truchard highlighted NI's new LabVIEW Communications System Design Suite, which combines software defined radio hardware with a software design, according to the company. The product helps engineers prototype 5G systems.
