The Network Setup Wizard and Requirements
Network setup wizards automatically setup everything on a Windows computer to allow it to become part of a workgroup. Every Windows edition uses a different wizard to do this
All updates should be done on computers
NDP -- Network Discovery Protocol is used to see and be seen on a network
Firewall Permissions can block file and print sharing
File and Print Sharing service is used to share files and printers
File or Folder has to be shared for people to gain access to it.
