Spectrum Sharing Over Submarine Cable Networks

In this video, Ciena engineer Michael Hubbard provides an overview of Spectrum Sharing over submarine cable networks, which allows submarine cable operators to virtualize their subsea fiber cable assets to enable a new and highly differentiated service offering to their customers.

With spectrum sharing, the customer provides their own modems and SLTE, and the cable owner provides a spectrum sharing solution with appropriate access and security features.
