Collaborative Conferencing will change the way Public Safety agencies handle the inundation of information that will inevitably be present as users become enabled to send video, text, and other multimedia content with requests for emergency assistance. In place of yesterday's "collect and transfer" model, Next Generation Emergency Callers, and the contextual data surrounding the call, can be anchored in a centralized multimedia conference where the additional resources required can be "invited" as appropriate, eliminating the need to push large amounts of data around the network.
