AT&T: A Culture Of Inclusion
Description
Workplace diversity is an issue that affects everyone, and we all miss opportunities when our workplaces cannot accommodate people with disabilities. This webinar explores inclusion through the lens of a company that is on the forefront: AT&T. AT&T’s Director of Global Public Policy will discuss new Department of Labor requirements, IP transitions and what it means to have a “culture of inclusion.”
We also hear from the national president of one of AT&T’s Employee Resource Groups about how companies can better support workers, and we will talk with an AT&T Mobility director about mobile apps and devices that are empowering people with disabilities even though they may not have initially been designed for that purpose.
What you will learn:
1. What are federal requirements regarding employment of people with disabilities?
2. What is the role of an Employee Resource Group and how can it help with retention?
3. How are mobile devices and apps empowering people with disabilities?
