SRX IPv6 Source NAT: Part 1 - NAT66 For IPv6 Only Hosts Learning Byte
Description
The SRX IPv6 source NAT Byte presents (source) NAT strategies for IPv6 only hosts.
Part 1 starts introducing JunOS SLAAC and DHCPv6 configuration, for hosts requiring L3 addressing. It then describes the use of source NAT66, to translate IPv6 ULA addresses to public routable IPv6 prefixes.
Please, note that the present recording does not cover IPv4 NAT connectivity options for IPv6 hosts, since this topic will be presented during Part 2.
To get the most of the current Learning Byte, learners should be familiar with the IPv6 addressing schemes, L3 NAT functionalities and DNSAAAA (IPv6) and A (IPv4) records.
