This Learning Byte covers NAT, a well-known technology in IPv4 to rewrite source or destination IP addresses in the IP header in order to hide the original addresses. The communication between a IPv6-only client and a IPv4-only server can be achieved by rewriting the protocol header's source and destination addresses from IPv6 to IPv4.
