John discusses the importance of MEF's CE 2.0 Certification program, as well as the MEF's concept of The Third Network. This interview was conducted on the show floor at MEF16.

John also discusses the Proof of Concept demo that Ciena and our Blue Planet division conducted in cooperation with CenturyLink and RAD at the MEF16 conference. This PoC demo won a MEF Excellence Award at MEF16 for best Third Network Proof of Concept.
