CTIA 2012: Agilent Mitigates Device Signal Interference With X-series Product Line
Description
During CTIA 2012, RCR Wireless News conducted executive interviews, product demonstrations and booth tours with leading LTE test and measurement companies. The goal was to better understand chip, device and base station testing process from early R&D to field test, turn-up and ongoing maintenance and repair.
According to Riadh Said, Sources Platform Manager for Agilent's Microwave & Communications Division, "Agilent delivers industry leading performance and capability from early stage device R&D protocol testing to physical layer, base station repair and maintenance testing. Key test elements include throughput, signal quality and device sensitivity."
We also took a closer look at how Agilent, via the x-series product line, is helping mobile carriers push the device data rate envelop at the edge of the network by testing up to 1 Gbps video streaming. According to Agilent, the X-series helps carriers mitigate interference by simultaneously verifying device amplifier performance across 2g, 3g, and LTE technologies.
Agilent has over 18,000 employees and serves customers in more than 100 countries. Agilent had net revenues of $6.6 billion in fiscal 2011. Information about Agilent is available at www.agilent.com.
