GITEX 2012: Huawei Enterprise Launches Cloud Data Centers

Huawei Enterprise shakes up the Cloud data center market at GITEX 2012. Through unveiling its data center one-stop-shop solution, Huawei's Cloud data centers ease the lives of companies as more decision makers are moving to the cloud. Other products including its high-end storage technology (HVS88T) were also on show for the first time, with a storage capability that not only addresses the Big Data challenge but also improves return on investment by up to five times.
Huawei draws on its extensive experience in cloud computing, collaborating with customers in 33 countries on commercial cloud deployments, as well as the world's largest desktop cloud that is used internally by approximately 70,000 Huawei employees. To date, Huawei has helped customers worldwide build 260 data centres, 35 of which are cloud computing data centres.
Experts also held a series of short break-out sessions at the Huawei stand, at the Gulf Comms area where hot topics on the latest tech trends were addressed.
