FOA Lecture 27 Fiber Optic Data Links (revised)
Featured video
Description
A fiber optic datalink transmits the signals over fiber optics. A datalink combines a transceiver that performs an electrical to optical conversion of an input signal, the cable plant that transmits the signal and a receiver that does the optical to electrical conversion of the signal back into the electrical domain. This video explains how a link works and what determines how well it performs.
