Bert DuMars joined Forrester Research in 2013 and focuses on marketing innovation programs and labs. He is an accomplished marketing executive with extensive experience in leading digital, social media, ecommerce and mobile marketing efforts for both Fortune 500 and public-sector organizations. He served as vice president of digital marketing and eCommerce for Newell Rubbermaid from 2007-2012. He has also held senior marketing and technology leadership positions at the US Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service, Trend Micro, Intel, Dell, and Southern California Edison. He received his B.A. from Pomona College and MBA from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business.

J. Gerry Purdy is a nationally recognized industry authority, focused on monitoring and analyzing emerging trends, technologies, and market behavior in mobile computing and wireless data communications devices, software, and services. Dr. Purdy is an 'edge of network' analyst looking at devices, applications, and services as well as wireless connectivity to those devices. Prior to joining Compass Intelligence, Dr. Purdy owned MobileTrax, LLC and enjoyed successful stints at Frost & Sullivan, Dataquest (a Division of Gartner) among other companies. Dr. Purdy has been a member of the Program Advisory Board of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) that produces CES, one of the largest trade shows in the world. He is a frequent moderator at CTIA conferences and GSM Mobile World Congress.
