Ciena's Helen Xenos and Corning's Sergey Tan discuss the two companies' joint demo at OFC/NFOEC 2011. Using Ciena's ActivFlex 6500 and Corning's SMF-28 ULL Optical Fiber, the demo sends a coherent 100G wavelength spanning 250 kilometers between the two booths.
