This 4-part series— Deploying ASAP learning byte — will guide you through installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and thoroughly understanding Juniper Networks ASAP solution including the Service Now and Service Insight applications.

ASAP is Juniper’s solution for the fastest and most thorough method to detect, prevent, and resolve hardware and software faults on Junos platforms. ASAP includes the applications Service Now and Service Insight which operate on the Junos Space Network Management Platform. Service Now works in conjunction with Advanced Insight Scripts (AI-Scripts) to automate troubleshooting data collection and end-to-end, zero-touch JTAC case creation. Service Insight provides reporting for end of life (EoL) and proactive bug notifications (PBNs). Troubleshooting data (Juniper Message Bundles, JMBs) collected by AI-Scripts are packaged to integrate seamlessly with ASAP’s automated data analysis system, Juniper Case Attachment Tool Suite (JCATS). JCATS will scan JMBs, detect known issues, and report findings to JTAC engineers to assist in expediting case resolution.
