CES 2014: Magnacom WAM Technology Demonstration

Magnacom's Yossi Cohen (CEO/President/Co-founder) and Amir Eliaz (CTO/Co-founder) demonstrate the spectral efficiency which their new technology development, called WAM, or Wave Modulation. This new technology is meant to replace QAM or Quadrature Amplitude Modulation. This live demo shows a 10dB improvement in the signal. This translates to 4X distance, 50% spectral power, and 40% less power needed to transmit the same level of data transmitted by a system using QAM.
