CTIA 2012: Spirent's Mu Dynamics Emulates Applications Running Across Carrier Networks

According to Next Web report in April, "US-based technology firm Spirent Communication announced the acquisition of cloud and app testing specialist Mu Dynamics in a $40 million deal that further extends its capabilities. Spirent, which provides test and measurement solutions for development labs, communication networks and IT organisations — including systems for electrical vehicles -- will integrate Mu's service into its platforms, provide a more thorough offering for enterprise and developer customers."

RCR Wireless News stopped by Spirent's booth during CTIA 2012 for more insights on the Mu Dynamics product integration. According to Spirent, "Network equipment manufactures use Spirent for R&D as they design their product as well as performance and regression for when their products are out in the real world and testing at very high scale emulating what it will look like in busy hour model. Service products use our products to validate services and devices they are going to deploy and roll-out in the network"
