#MWC14: Intel & Alcatel-Lucent - First To Market Will Be Differentiator

Intel and Alcatel-Lucent respond to Question and Answer about press conference announcing non-exclusive partnership. The companies will share the costs of research and development on cloud computing and security, focused around network virtualization, or NFV.

Both claim first market mover will be key to differentiation - not customization. They also explain that non-exclusivity in a partnership is ideal for innovation, as well as the reallocation of company resources for this new direction and partnership.
