Description
SSM Features learning byte covers Source Specific Multicast operation and configuration on Junos devices. This learning byte also covers features to allow user devices to intercommunicate with user PCs that are not IGMP version 3 capable in a SSM environment. This learning byte shows commands that allow for interaction between IGMP version 2 and 3 devices. This learning byte is most appropriate for users that have attended the Introduction to the Junos Operating System (IJOS) and Junos Intermediate Routing (JIR) courses or have equivalent experience.
