Anritsu Webinar: Adapting Maintenance Techniques To Current Trends In LTE Installations
Description
Cellular base station installations are changing from the traditional ground or cabinet based radio installations to remote radio head, fiber to the antenna and small cell installations where the radios are installed close to the antennas or the antennas are integral to the radios themselves. Gaining access to these installations for direct-connect maintenance can be difficult so remote, over-the-air measurement techniques have to be developed. Adapting these techniques to the rapidly evolving LTE and LTE-A standards is a challenge for a test equipment supplier and balancing the two, sometimes opposing, demands of sophisticated analysis and ease-of-use to improve technician productivity is the goal.
