Amsterdam Internet Exchange Accelerates With Huawei

The Netherlands now has the highest percentage of broadband-connected households in the European Union, and the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX) has been providing connectivity to enterprise customers since the early days of the web.

The Internet and all its applications have almost become part of our senses these days. Many of us feel the need to be online 24 hours a day, to be interconnected with friends, family, colleagues and customers, or with the world at large. This interconnectivity of people is fed by the interconnectivity of the networks they are using, which is the main purpose of AMS-IX.

AMS-IX (Amsterdam Internet Exchange) is a neutral and independent Internet Exchange based in Amsterdam. With over 800 customers, the AMS-IX is the largest IP internet exchange in the world.
